The Coleman Medallist was forced into isolation on Tuesday due to a sore throat, but the Geelong spearhead has tested negative to COVID and is expected to line up this Saturday. That means there should be no changes made to either side, which would leave two-time Richmond premiership player Josh Caddy sidelined.

It can be argued that Houli deserved the Norm Smith Medal for his disposal effort against Adelaide in , while he backed it up in with 26 touches against the GWS Giants. Ruckmen who push forward and kick goals are valuable assets, and Rhys Stanley is one of the best in the league when it comes to hitting the scoreboard. Stanley averages a goal per game in , thanks in no small part to his stellar running capacity. Given he has slotted a goal in three of his last four games against the Tigers, we like the odds about Stanley here.

Richmond beat the Cats earlier in the season but lost to the Lions in week one of the finals, and Geelong smashed that Brisbane team by 40 points last week. Gary Rohan was a late out when these teams met in round 17 this season, but he has since fired up and found form at the right time. The accurate field kicking of Mitch Duncan and Sam Menegola will be the difference, as Hawkins is hard to stop when the service is there.

They had problems with it when they last played but the big advantage for 18 betting tigers is that they kick the ball straight in front of goal. Lockie Neale is still in Brownlow form but Dusty is starting to play great footy with a body that seems to be handling the increased amount of games. The Eagles are loving being back in WA while the Hawks are thinking of starting to blood some young players. While the Tigers have straight shooters.

The Bulldogs on the other hand have a lot of talented players but are missing a couple of major cogs. Tom Lynch scored only one goal last week against Port Adelaide, so we are expecting a much better performance this time around. The Pies have started quick in both games and in this new AFL game of short quarters that is a massive thing to do. Both of these ruckmen are elite in their craft. If the Blues can keep up with the Power they have a chance to run over the top of them if not it should be another win Port in a high scoring game.

Ultimately, the Tigers kicked crucial goals when it mattered most and dominated possession in the final quarter to earn a hard fought six-point win. There could be some questions raised at the selection table throughout the week for the Tigers. Their line-up has looked somewhat settled for the past two weeks now but Jake Aarts and Maboir Chol have both been a big part of their success throughout the season and seem to be banging on the door to get in for this Grand Final.

Dustin Martin has been the catalyst of their two Grand Final wins. He has averaged The Cats were unfairly written off after they went down to the Power in the first week of finals. To their credit, they have bounced back to win their next two games in dominant fashion to force their way into the Grand Final. They downed the Magpies by a whopping 68 points before disposing of the Brisbane Lions by 40 points at the Gabba in the prelim.

It was Patrick Dangerfield who did the damage against the Magpies, kicking four goals and looking absolutely unstoppable in the win. Last week, Gary Rohan had one of those Gary Rohan games in the prelim against the Lions, kicking three goals and he will pose as a tough matchup for the Richmond defence this Saturday night. On the selection front, the Cats look pretty settled and will likely go into the game unchanged.

Ablett has averaged The Tigers start as the slightest of favourites but based on form, I feel like you have to give the edge to the Cats. They decimated the Pies and Lions in their last two games, allowing just 37 points per game and winning by an average margin of 54 points. The Tigers did win their Round 17 clash by 26 points, however, it was a pretty clear night that night and it looks like there is some rain forecast for this Saturday. The Cats are one of the few teams in the league that have the defensive structure that is capable of standing up to the Tigers game style, which prioritises moving the ball through the middle of the ground quickly and kicking long.

They have been exemplary at doing so the last two weeks, and barring any late changes to the team, I think their defence holds up again. The Kangaroos have been installed as the pre-season premiership favourites with the Dockers, Blues and Demons also among the contenders. While the hawks looked poor against the winless Crows. They had no run and continue to play around with the ball. This helped a poor pressure side like the crows to tackle there way to a win.

The Saints need to win this game to get back on track as they are sitting 7th with a lot of teams trying to get the final spots in the top 8. The Cats are missing some stars but they still sit 2nd on the ladder with a game style that just keeps on winning. This week they take on the Bombers whos season will be over if they cant win this game. In a game that could put up an upset, we have the bulldogs against the eagles. The Dockers play their second game in quick succession when they take on the Demons.

The Demons are playing great football and should really should beat the dockers. What will the Crows do now they have the pressure off after beating the hawks. Well, they will have to be at there best to win against the Giants. The Blues are putting together a very nice side that has [postives like Harry Mckay and welsh that will help them become a finals team in the future while the swans still missing buddy may need to rebuild to become the dominant force we expect them to be each year.

Carlton should win this in a low scoring game as Sydney still struggle to kick a match-winning score. The Suns have a lot going for them with King up forward and some of the best young midfielders in the league the future looks great for them. This is a very even match when it comes down to the stats. What a game this could turn out to be. The Tigers are playing good football and the forwards are starting to kick goals.

I really like the Eagle and the way they have been playing, if this game was in WA the eagle would be lost to my bet of the round. The Bulldogs play Friday night against the Cats. What can you say about the cats, every year they just keep finding ways to win games and stay at the top of the ladder. This year the are kicking goals but it the defence that has been stronger averaging on 50 points against them each game its one of the best defences in the league.

This game looks like a massive mismatch with the top of the table Power against the 16th placed Swans. The swans year go worst last week with Buddy being ruled out for the season with a hamstring injury. The Power just got over the line against the hawks but they still played some very tough football. With a skilful midfield, they should stay on top of the table with an easy win here that I think will stay under the total points scoreline as well. Freo takes on the Giants at Optus in an afternoon game that all the stats point to a low scoring game.

Both sides average under 53 points while both sides also average below average scores kick against them. With Freo only allowing 37 points kicked on them per game with this being the case the line is 1. With a Great young key Forward and a midfield that keeps on running and getting the ball into the 50 with ease, the Saints are playing the type of football that can cause a couple of upsets in the finals.

The Pies have found their way into the 8 and its on the back of a very strong defence. The Blues, on the other hand, are building and a good team that will be a finals team in years once the young players get used to AFL football. Collingwood in a close one. The Suns take on the Roos in the last game of this round. The Suns have been a bright spark this year and Stewy Dew needs to be congratulated on how he has got them playing. The Roos on the other hand has a lot of good players on the sidelines.

They need to find a way to get game into some of the young players to find out if they are up to the AFL standard or if they are just a list clogger. This is why I have to go with the Suns. The suns put up a good show against the Tigers. This short break will be even tougher the Blues just got after the line thanks to an after the siren goal in a low scoring game. I think will be the same. The Bulldogs were lead last week by a fantastic game from the Bont. He has been a little down this year but if he can put a couple of good games together the bulldogs may be able to finish the year strong with a few wins.

The Power takes on the hawks at the Adelaide Oval. The hawks are playing terrible and with a lot of injuries including the latest of Sicily. The Hawks need to start playing the younger players to see if they have to go back to the draft or if they will need to clean house. The hawks will be struggling to win this game. Port will be looking for a big percentage boost to stay on top of the ladder.

This game is the dream time game between the Bombers and Tigers but this time is being played in the NT. With the Bombers getting back some start players I feel they may just struggle to run out the full 4 quarters and the tigers will win this one in a close game.

Fremantle take on the swans in a very interesting game on Saturday night. The Dockers have been competitive winning 2 of their last 3 games and only just losing last week to a kick after the final siren. The swans on the other hand are still struggling to kick big scores or getting back to back forward entries. Geelong takes on the winless Crows in Adelaide. The Cats are starting to click with Tom Hawkins still being the massive target up forward. The Saints will be playing the Lions in the game of the round, The fast movement has been a hallmark of both sides this year but the saints have been a lot straighter at kicking goals.

The Lions have cost them self percentage and even a couple of games thanks to poor kicking. The Eagles are loving being back in WA while the Giants are looking to find a spot in the top 8. Kennedy has been kicking goals for fun the last couple of games and defensively the eagles are tackling hard.

Both sides are struggling to move the ball with any speed and accurately. The Roos will need to have a look at their list after this year. Round 12 starts with a Sydney derby in WA. The only problem that could stop this is the open spaces of Optus Stadium. Friday night football starts with the game of the round Geelong vs Port. Both teams are looking to guarantee a spot in the top 4. Both sides are coming off great wins with Geelong playing fantastic football on Monday night.

The Lions take on the Kangaroos in the early game on Saturday. If the Lion could kick straight they could be in a better situation then they are at the moment. Our Brownlow pick Lockie Neale is still getting the job done week after week but he needs to deliver the ball into the 50 to help his forwards get better shots. This game has one of the lowest lines I have seen in a long time. Sports bet has the Total points line at You can understand why. I have to think that Collingwood will stop the Demons from scoring again but games at the Gabba are normally high scoring well over points anyway so we will take the overs as well.

The BattLE Between 2 sides that are struggling to win a game or meet expectations. The Bulldogs will need to win this game to be any hope of making it back into the top 8 While the Crows just need to win a game full stop. After losing to Collingwood midweek where they looked to have their chance something bad would have to happen for the Crows to win this one. The Saints will be looking to bounce back this week against the Bombers who took on the suns on Wednesday Night.

The Saints are a very good side offensively with the hard-running Brad Hill in their side but last game it showed how much of a hole another recruit in Zak Jones left in the St Kilda side. The midfield is strong but it will take one of these 2 to start kicking bags of goals each game for them to win. The Eagles are loving being back in WA while the Hawks are thinking of starting to blood some young players.

The Hawks season is on the edge at the moment with the side not running tackling or moving the ball forward like the normal hawks. With the suns playing on Wednesday they have a short week so look for them to be tired at the end of this game. Both sides are coming off a mid-week game so the sides may be a lot different than what they were mid-week. I would think the Cats may rest a couple more players than the saints but it really is something that you have to wait and see who is missing from both sides.

Freo got over the top of the Pies while the hawks came back from being 5 goals down at one stage to beat the Blues. Both sides will have the open spaces of Optus Stadium but with Nat Fyfe still being a little underdone, I think the Hawks will be able to get on top of Freo.

Against the Crows, they should be able to kick a few goals and build some confidence in a side that needs to start stringing wins together to earn a shot at finals football. The Bombers are a side that seems to win against the sides they should but struggle to beat any side that in the 8. Lockie Neale is still in Brownlow form but Dusty is starting to play great footy with a body that seems to be handling the increased amount of games.

The Saints keep marching on even the biggest fan would be happily surprised that the saints are sitting 3rd on the ladder. They Could be leading the comp as 2 of the saints loses they were up by 4 goals at one stage of the game. Slowly the GWS are starting to build towards the back end of the season.

After being the Tigers they defeated the Suns last week. Melbourne takes on the Power on Thursday night in what will be an interesting game the Power is still on top of the ladder and play a very attractive style of football. Friday night football starts with an early game at 5. The hawthorn kids need to step up down forward if they are a chance to beat the Blues. This is one of these games they should win. The Bombers take on the Lions at the home of the gold coast suns.

Our Brownlow pick Lachie Neale is still getting the job done week after week so we have to stick with the Lions. What an amazing effort from a side this Tipster always had faith in. This week after a nice break they Take on the Swans who gave the hapless hawks a beating last week. Thank Tom Papley. He was fantastic and kicked a majority of their score.

Do I see that happening this week? Do I see the swans stepping up and someone else helping him out? The Thing that pleased me the most was how good the midfield looked especially Tim Kelly, who will take on his old team here in the Cats. The Suns are playing great football and the young players are giving them a massive spark but the harden bodies of the GWS guys and the toughness is hard to ignore.

How much will that game take out of the Dockers? The Bet Refinery also has some great selections which you can find here. Bet Refinery. The Bulldogs were great last week against the Bombers but with a couple of key outs like Lachie Hunter, I have the suns just in front in a very close game. Friday night football is the Giants vs the tigers and its got me shaking my head a little bit.

Today if you look at the Ladder the boys from punt rd are sitting 4th on the ladder. Not bad for a team that cant score or play. Goldstein goes up against the under rated Blues Ruckman Pittonet if he can get on top of him and the Roos get the ball out of the centre they can win this game.

This game is going to be the last time I tip the hawks in if they continue to play like they are at the moment. For a team that should be fighting for a top 8 spot. In a game that should be very entertaining the power take on the saints, who come off a short week after beating the Crows on monday. The saints did enough to get the job done with a couple of little lapes they still had enough to run out the game and win quite easily. It makes the the complete team which means all there problems are going to be mental or if they can battle.

They are a great side when in front but will they be able to fight back when they need to that is the question. This week I feel they can thanks to the long break but this game will be a good test for Port. Essendon should be to good in this one espeically with the crows playing Monday night so ill have to go with the bombers.

The eagles back in WA are a much better side. If they had a good key forward they would be flag favorites for me. Melbourne returned to form by smashing the hapless hawks on the weekend. They were fantatsic in the way they moved the ball but did really get much pressure from the Hawks. Brisbane will provide a lot of pressure to the Demons this weekend. They will be looking to stop Max gawn in the ruck, stopping him from handing the midfielders first possession.

If they win the midfield battle they win the game Brisbane. I feel they will do this as they use the ball a lot better than the Demons mid fielders. The last game of the round will be played on Monday night again as we continue to have fooball played almost every day for the next 3 weeks.

The Dockers take on the Cats who are starting to get a lot of injuries and niggles. This is one of the down sides from having a very skilled but old football team. The Dockers will be looking to improve after losing the Derby to west coast. With the home crowd behind them, they should lift but the geelong side is so well drilled in their game style. Is the bigger ground going to help out the Cats or the defensively-minded Magpies?

In a game where they should have been a lot closer while having 10 more inside the 50s they could only manage 16 shots on goal while the Blues had 23 from just 41 forward entries. The Lions need space to move around in open up for the Forwards to get leads and take marks from the midfielders kicks.

They get the ball into the 50 very easy but it also comes out the 50 quickly as well. The lions set up the wall really well but I feel GWS run and carry will be able to overcome that. Slowly the tigers are starting to wake up from what was an extra-long ISO for them. They take on another middle of the table team in the Kangaroos here and have a massive chance of making it 3 in a row.

The Blues are surprising a lot of teams with the gritty play that is both hard-working and very efficient. If the Blues can keep up with the Power they have a chance to run over the top of them if not it should be another win Port in a high scoring game. They look amazing one week but them like last week they give up a 6 goal lead to the dockers to lose a game they really should have won going on the first quarter. The Cats have the most talent but the Lions are playing the best team football so expect a close game with Brisbane just getting the chocolates.

In another tight game, I have to go with the hawks at the Line. Freo is a shadow of themself without Nat Fyfe but they did manage to get the win against the Crows last week in an ugly low scoring game. Yes, he played amazing, Yes he was going to poll a lot of votes in the Brownlow. But the whole side has improved so much and they can get back on the winners list against the Demons. Saturday night finishes with what I believe will be a good old fashioned tough game of football.

I Think the Roos can bounce back here especially with Stringer missing from the Bombers which is a massive out and really opens this game up. Suggested Bets: Either team under Port on the other hand took on a genuine top 4 team and looked the second rate.

They will need to work a lot harder if they want to keep up with the GWS midfielders. Will port want to run the other way with the same intensity as they do when things are going their way. We will find out. Sydney is still struggling up forwards but there is also a couple of cracks now showing in the midfield. They have poor disposal at times and are handball happy to get out of trouble which is great sometimes but will find you trouble against a side like Richmond who is a tackle hungry machine at times.

The price for the tigers is way over the odds thanks to a lot of injuries but I still think they will get the job done. The Bulldogs are starting to play the football a lot of experts thought they could at the start of the year. The back to back wins have really boosted the side and the confidence they now have should continue with a win against the Blues.

Ratten the old Carlton coach get to show the blues they made a mistake in firing him years ago. The Blues are coming together nicely they but in a great performance against the Bombers, but I think the running game of the saints will be too much for the Blues. The Pies come close to beating GWS last week. The bombers also lost a close one to the Blues which would have hurt the Bombers faithful. Collingwood have all the makings of a grand final team, they have a fantastic open forward line with a lot of different scoring options that will be too much for the Bombers.

The eagle has the Crows next week but they have a chance to get their season back on track by defeating the Swans as well. I really thought the Swans at home last week would have won or at least get a lot closer to the Bulldogs then they did. Their disposal and run needs work and for them to move forward they need to put 4 quarters together. The Cats played in a very scrappy game last week against the Demons but ended up pulling away in the final moments of the game.

This week they need to be on their game from the first minute against the surprising Gold coast suns. You have to give the Suns all the respect in the world. This is very much an 8 point game in my eyes. The dogs are playing the better football but todd Goldstein is going to dominate the ruck in this game and could swing the game Norths favour especially if you have Ben Cunnington is back for the Roos. This is going to be a cracker, Lions vs Power both teams are high scoring.

Playing great offensive football, but who is better in defence. Charlie Cameron is kicking goals. Brisbane have the massive problem of trying to stop the port forward line. Charlie Dixon is in great form and Marshall is improving every week.

This will be a very close game and the. The crows were better last week but still looked a long way off playing there best football. I think they are playing the better football but without Nat Fyfe, it is very difficult to tip them. Funny game this one. You would have thought at the start of the year you just pick the tigers and watch an easy win for the boys from punt rd. Melbourne is in the same boat but we expected that from them they are struggling to kick a winning score but they are getting the ball first with max gawn playing so well in the Ruck.

The Tigers are too good of a side to not win a game soon and I think this is the one game they can win and get back on the track. The last game of the round will be a hard-fought match between the Hawks and GWS. Hawthorn almost lost their game against the Roos in the last couple of minutes. Clarkson would have given them a spray during the week.
